Model Preparation

When I prepare for a shoot on location with a model, fashion designer, and makeup stylist, I find that effective communication is crucial. I start by ensuring all equipment is ready and in working order, including charged batteries and organized inventory. This preparation helps me avoid any last-minute issues that could disrupt the shoot. I also make sure to bring backup equipment just in case something goes wrong.

Coordination with the team is essential for a smooth workflow. I discuss the concept and mood boards with the fashion designer and makeup stylist to ensure everyone is on the same page. Clear communication with the model about poses and expectations is also important. I often review the shoot plan with the team to make sure we are all aligned. By maintaining open lines of communication and being thoroughly prepared, I can ensure that the shoot runs smoothly and yields outstanding results.
